EASTERN District of TEXAS

A. You may come in to our office to use our internet access. Please call to schedule.

or

B. You may use your own internet access at home for credit counseling with Hummingbird:

1. Go to Hummingbird Credit Counseling and Education, click on "Bankruptcy Certifications",
then click on "Before Bankruptcy Credit Counseling", select "Texas", and "Start the Counseling".

2. They will issue a Session ID Number which will allow you to resume the counseling session if it is interrupted:

3. At the end of the counseling session, they will issue you a Control Number.
Please write this number down.

4. You must complete the counseling by email or telephone. Email is much easier - provide
your email address, they will send you an email in which you will click a link to complete.
(If by telephone, both husband and wife must participate in the same telephone call.)
Your case will be filed in the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division.

5. You can cut and paste the control number and email it to scott@lemkepederson.com
or call it in to our office.

or

C. Telephone Credit Counseling with Institute for Financial Literacy

1. Call us and we will sign client up for the program.
2. Client calls 1-866-662-4932 to complete counseling.
3. We will then be able to access the client certificate of completion.
